The Australian Institute
of Building (AIB), Incorporated by
Royal Charter, enjoys a long and proud history of supporting
and serving the building profession. For more than fifty years
AIB has worked within the building and construction industry, government,
the education sector and related stakeholders to achieve its objectives.

To advance the interests
of its membership AIB enjoys strategic links with organisations
such as the Australian Construction Industry
Forum (ACIF), Australian
Sustainable Built Environment Council (ASBEC),
Construction & Property Services Industry Skills Council
(CPSISC), Certifire,
NATSPEC, Standards
Australia and the National Building &
Surveying Alliance (NBSA). AIB also has
a formal alliance agreement with the New Zealand
Institute of Building (NZIOB).
