AIB National Committees

The ability of the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) to protect the interests of the building profession derives from strong relationship between the membership, elected office bearers and staff. This relationship is developed through a number of national committees composed of members who volunteer their time to make a positive contribution to changing the training standards, regulatory framework and commercial environment in which the building and construction industry operates.

The national committees focus upon a range of issues and they currently include the following:

AIB National Committees
Courses Accreditation Committee
Education Committee
Industry & Government Liaison Committee
External Appointments & Awards Committee
Membership Services Committee

These committee's enjoy a considerable track-record of success in influencing the decisions of government, education institutions, industry and other key stakeholders.

From time to time, AIB calls for nominations for membership on its committees, seeking the expertise of a range of development industry representatives to advance the interests of the development industry and AIB.

To register your interest for any of the national committees please send an e-mail to ausbuild@aib.org.au or contact the staff member responsible for the committee.
