AIB History - Presidents, past and present

The Australian Institute of Building (AIB) is lead by a national President who is typically selected on the basis of leadership inbusiness, the broader building profession and often in the community service.  Amongst their numbers include Sir Manuel Hornibrook OBE FAIB and Sir Albert Jennings FAIB, respectively of Baulderstone Hornibrook and AV Jennings fame.  The following is the complete list of AIB Presidents:

The role of the President is to act of Chair of both the AIB Board and Council, maintain a relationship with the Chapters, tender advice and guidance to the General Manager and also to act as the public face of the Institute.  Under the current governance structure all Past Presidents are eligible to serve on the AIB National Council.
