2010 NOMINATIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED

The AIB Professional Excellence in Building Awards reflect the highest standards of building and construction management, research and development of building projects in Australia.

These awards are unique as they are the only Australian awards that recognise the individuals' professional excellence in the building and construction process, as opposed to the project or completed structure.

Each nomination is judged on its own merits and not against other entries within the same category; the recipients of Chapter awards are then judged at a National level..

In past years, award recipients included building and associated professionals who had successfully overcome challenges to ensure the timely completion of projects on budget, introducing practical application of industry influenced research and protecting the integrity of original structures and facades. Building professionals have been rewarded for their work on a number of projects ranging from international sporting arenas to complex residential developments and state of the art medical facilities.

The 2010 award recipients will be announced at the Chapter dinners held between May and July 2010. All Chapter award winners will go forward to be judged at the National level. The recipients of National awards will be announced in September 2010 at the National Dinner, venue to be advised soon.
