| Papers
are now being sought for the CONSTRUCT 2008 conference to held
on the Gold Coast over 21 – 23 February 2008. Organised
by the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) the conference will
be one of the largest gatherings of the construction industry’s
senior management. For CONSTRUCT 2008 we are looking for papers
that address:

Personal development - making your next career step
\\\ Getting the best out of
building graduates
\\\ Tendering for projects
in the public sector
\\\ Preparing builders for
changes within the profession
\\\ The practical side of
workplace relations legislation
Opportunities
exist for papers to be presented by managers of construction firms,
senior project managers, human resource managers, government officials,
researchers and academics in building disciplines.
Each presentation
will be approximately twenty five minutes in length with a further
five minutes for questions. The presentation should have a MS
PowerPoint presentation and be accompanied by a written paper
of between 1,000 and 3,000 words (depending on the topic). Deadlines
for submissions are as follows:

Authors of
papers that are selected will be notified on 15 August 2007. Those
presenting papers receive a full complimentary registration to
the CONSTRUCT 2008 conference.

abstract and sent via e-mail to conference@aib.org.au
