AIB - Queensland Chapter

For more than two decade the population growth in Queensland has been twice that of the national average and in order to accommodate this rapid population grown Queensland is home to some of the most innovative approaches in the provision of housing and urban infrastructure. The membership of the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) manages the construction of this infrastructure.

The AIB Queensland Chapter is the contact point for building professionals and students of building management (and related disciplines) working in Queensland.  The Chapter provides a range of local services and information for building practitioners and students undertaking building and construction management courses in Queensland.

The Queensland State Government takes a practice approach in its consultation with leading professional groups and the AIB Queensland Chapter works as a moderating and positive influence in the consultative approach to develop legislation that has an impact on the building profession.
