Members of the Australian Institute of Building
(AIB) are involved in a range of building
projects designed to support best-practice building techniques and
innovative approaches to project management. AIB directly funds
the following research initiatives:

AIB is to bring building professionals, university academics and
research bodies together to undertake research that will produce
tools that can be used by the building profession. AIB supports

The close relationship
that AIB has with the nation's principal building research body,
the CRC
for Construction Innovation, allows members to play an active
role in research activities in Australia and overseas. If this is
