AIB - Tasmanian Chapter

Separation from the Australian mainland has necessitated a tradition of innovation in the cost-effective management of building projects in Tasmania.  The Tasmanian Chapter of the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) proudly supports the career development of builders and allied professionals working within the state's construction industry.

The AIB Tasmanian Chapter is the contact point for building professionals and students of building management (and related disciplines) working in Tasmania, whether it be in the Burnie, Devonport, Launceston or the capital, Hobart.  The Chapter provides a range of local services and information for building practitioners and students undertaking building and construction management courses in Tasmania.

The Chapter office is based in Hobart reinforcing AIB's proud role of making a positive contribution to the process of negotiating legislative amendments that have an impact upon Tasmanian's building and construction industry.
