Many members of the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) spend spend time working in the United Kingdom as part of the process of gaining an understanding of how the building profession works in Europe. Their ranks include some of the most senior building professionals responsible for construction across the UK and the rest of Europe.

Through the AIB United Kingdom Branch we are pleased to provide continuing professionals support to out members working in the United Kingdom. An interesting historical fact is that the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) was the first building professional institute to recieve a Royal Charter, more than a decade before its British counterpart.
