Notice is hereby given that the 73rd Annual General Meeting of Members of the Australian Institute of Building will be held at 3.30pm on Saturday August 31st in Melbourne, Victoria. If you are not able to attend in person and would like to join in via Teams, the meeting link will be sent out closer to the date: 

 BUSINESS:

1. To receive the minutes of the 72nd  Annual General Meeting held via Teams on Saturday 9th October 2023.
2. To receive and consider the financial statements for the Australian Institute of Building for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2024. 
3. To receive and consider the Annual Report of the Australian Institute of Building for the year ended 31 March 2024.
4. To declare the election results for Australian Institute of Building Councillors for the year 2024-2025. 
5. To install the President of the Australian Institute of Building for the year 2024-2025. 
6. To appoint auditors for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2025
7. To transact any other business which may properly be transacted by an Annual General Meeting.

The 2024 Nomination Form for National Council Positions can be downloaded and sent to [email protected] before 24th August to be checked and authenticated. An AIB Member who is eligible (Member | Fellow) to vote at the Annual General Meeting may appoint a proxy in accord with by-law 6.7.3 of the AIB Handbook. The Proxy Form - 2024 AGM must be sent to [email protected] before 24th August 2024 to be checked and authenticated.
