First Bridge Tower takes it’s Place on Sydney Metro

The first tower for Sydney Metro’s iconic railway bridge at Rouse Hill has been lifted into place in a precision operation overnight.

Two large cranes lifted the 210 tonne tower early this morning on the bridge deck over Windsor Road, before it was bolted into place.

Minister for Transport and Infrastructure Andrew Constance said it will be a day to remember.
