I was pleased to see the reinvigoration of the National Membership Services Committee and now under the Chairmanship of David Burnell (National Senior Vice President). David was with the team at the National Office in Canberra recently where discussion took place on a whole range of issues. Notwithstanding some of David’s priorities, discussion included (but not limited to):
A review of membership categories to ensure relevance and a strong Value Proposition
The further investigation in to a category of membership that takes in to account/consideration Corporate businesses
Collateral that is sent to new members initially
The delivery of regular events and activities across the country for maximum engagement
I am looking forward to seeing the fruits of the committee.

Constructing Our World 2019 – the conference is now firmly in our sights after the signing on of a Professional Conference Organiser (Conference Logistics) in Canberra last week. Details of the exact date in September next year as well as location will be released in the not too distant future.

Don’t forget that you only have until the end of the month to have both nominations and submissions in for this year’s Professional Excellence in Building Awards. Entries have been strong this year, reflecting a relatively buoyant market over the last eighteen months or so.

Have a great weekend ahead everyone.
